The Nespresso Ristretto pod is an intense coffee blend of Arabica and Robusta from South and Central America. Into the South American Arabica comes the daring intensity of two powerful Central American Robustas. The Robustas bring more than an explosive strength. They bring body, beautiful bitterness, and enticing pepper and woody notes. But all those characteristics are enrobed in a creamy texture – it makes for a compelling marriage of texture and taste.
Roasting
This Nespresso Ristretto is split roast for the Arabica and Robusta components. The Robusta gets an intense roast to highlight the body and bitterness inherent in the bean. The Arabica gets a gentler but longer roast that enhances its natural syrupy sweetness and its finer aromatic notes. It strikes a compelling balance.
